Yesterday, the SAP Retail Inspiring Tour came to Joynture to host a “Start-up Discovery Session.”

To describe the event as interactive would be an understatement. Within the first hour, attendees were divided into five groups and tasked with creating a pitch for an imaginary business in eight minutes. Entertaining results varied from iMonkey, a company dedicated to renting out intelligent monkeys to assist with business endeavors, to SexyRobot, a robotic mannequin that makes shopping for women’s clothes a cakewalk.

After an enlightening presentation from Frank Nouyrigat, attendees networked, enjoyed refreshments and visited the tables of the five hosting startup companies: M2C, 42debut, Swill, PieceMaker and TrendBox.
