If you are one of the many people in NYC that keeps telling yourself that you are going to sign up to volunteer but haven’t had the opportunity to do so yet, New York Cares Day Spring is a good opportunity to start getting involved in our community.

“The city’s public parks and gardens provide an oasis from the busy, urban atmosphere. Prepare these natural treasures for spring by clearing brush, repainting benches, and pulling weeds with us on April 16th. In just four hours of work, caring volunteers transform 70 public spaces into the highlights of their neighborhoods.”
